Teachers are at the core of our success.
Teacher salaries in Uganda are established by the Ministry of Education, but the government doesn’t contribute to salaries at KSVS. Donor support, along with small amounts contributed by KSVS families, are how teachers are paid. They continue to teach because that is their calling and they trust God to provide for them. Our commitment is to show God’s love to our teachers by ensuring that teachers are paid what they deserve. You can help us attain this goal by sponsoring a teacher on an annual or monthly basis, or contributing to a fund to pay teachers.
Details of Teacher Sponsorship
Sponsor a teacher by making a one-time, monthly, or annual contribution.
The yearly salary of teacher is $2,200 per year. The yearly salary of a science/math teachers is $3600. You can choose which type of teacher you would like to support.
You can choose the amount of your contribution; any amount helps to support our teachers.
You can pay by check to make a one-time contribution to a teacher salary by sending a check payable to Partners in Mission. Indicate “teacher salary” in the memo line and send the check to Partners in Mission, PO Box 441, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60138.
You can pay online. Options online include payment by credit card or set up a direct payment from a bank account.
