This Christmas, let’s
SOW SEEDS OF HOPE
through a new coffee enterprise!
After experimenting with growing coffee, KSVS students now grow on the campus and distribute coffee seedlings to community members to grow on their own properties. They teach families how to care for the trees, and in 3 years, families will begin to harvest their crops for sale. The hope is that coffee will become a major cash crop for the community, helping to lift them out of poverty through a self-sustaining enterprise.

We are excited to bring you this special Christmas invitation – the opportunity to launch a coffee business as part of the incredible, expanding teaching programs at KSVS.
In honor of the school’s upcoming 20th anniversary on March 15, a donor has come forward with a special Christmas gift of $60,000 to purchase 20 acres of land near the school to create a demonstration farm to train students and families how to raise their own coffee crop.
In order to make this investment a productive enterprise that can also help support school expenses, KSVS hopes to raise another $40,000 for a commercial roaster and a downpayment to build a small café along the road where beans can be turned into coffee and sold to passersby.
All facets of the coffee operation will give skills and training to KSVS students, and they in turn will teach local families to grow and sell crops, sparking a wave of entrepreneurship. Let’s make this happen!
