ANNUAL BIKE TO THE LAKE

Each Year PIM sponsors a Bike to the Lake charity ride that travels from Glen Ellyn Il to The Abbey in Fontana (Lake Geneva) Wisconsin. There are three optional distances: 84 miles, 70 miles or 50 miles. The scenic route follows the Fox River trail to McHenry and then uses seldom used country roads to the Abbey.

The route is marked and the ride managed by Bicycle Illinois. Along with three rest stops providing food and water, professional guides and support transportation when needed are provided. Transportation from the Abbey to Glen Ellyn is provided for riders and their bikes at the conclusion of the day.

Our day ends with a meal on the lawn of the Abbey including musical entertainment, with family welcome.
